Vorarlberg - Grenada/Karibik

1999, bei der 51. IWC im Karibischen Grenada, war Bernhard Bechter wieder der einzige Demonstrant. Mit dem Kajak reiste er in 10 Monaten um die halbe Welt und riskierte dabei mehrmals sein Leben. Weihnachten feierte er inmitten der Polarnacht Grönlands. Das Auftauchen Bechters löste jedoch bei vielen Teilnehmern der IWC Freude aus, denn der Österreicher bewies aufs Neue: Der Protest lebt!

Vorarlberg - Grenada

1999, at the 51th IWC in Carribean Grenada, Bernhard Bechter once again was the only demonstrator. With his kayak he travelled around half the world within 10 months and risked his life a couple of times. He celebrated Christmas in the middle of the polar night in Greenland. But the appearance of Bechter caused happiness amongst many participants of the IWC, because the Austrian citizen once again proved: protest is alive!
