8:00 Uhr: Erste Demonstrationen vor dem Eingang zum Confention-Center (Austragungsort der IWC). Die Japaner fahren eine große Delegation mit Walfängern auf, welche für den Walfang protestieren: 'The minkewhale eats all our fish and has to be controlled in its population'. 10:00 Uhr: Eröffnung der 52. IWC. 12:00 Uhr: Kids for Whales übergeben die gesammelten Postkarten an den IWC-Vorsitzenden. Bernhard Bechter gibt Interviews. Näheres zur IWC siehe im 52.IWC-news Link.


Day 22: July 3, 2000
8:00 a.m.: First demonstrations in front of the entrance of the Confention-Center (venue of the IWC). The Japanese brought along a huge delegation of whalors, which are protesting pro whaling: 'The minkewhale eats all our fish and has to be controlled in its population'. 10:00 a.m.: Initiation of the 52nd IWC. 12:00 a.m.: Kids for Whales are handing over the collected postcards to the IWC-chairman.
